The AUDIT SPECIALIST INTERNAL will be in charge of supporting the Internal Audit Manager in all audit processes to comply with the company's regional and global compliance processes.

The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for planning, execution and reporting of internal audit activities of the companies in accordance with the approved internal audit plan.Among the functions he/she will be performing will be the following:

• Perform audit engagements in accordance with the approved internal audit
• Provide assistance in the development of internal audit plan based on the risk assessment and other mitigating controls in place around the process.
• Coordinate internal audit engagements within the projects companies and acts as audit liaison between the project companies and the internal audit function.
• Provide support to the external auditors, if required, on special matters.
• Effectively participate and acts as a key team player with the internal audit team including staff of any third-party service provider.
• Evaluate underlying supporting documentation and key records, policies, procedures to add value and process improvement.
• Perform audit procedures to assess effectiveness of internal controls operating during the period, identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present timely audit reports to audit manager, director of audit office, Board Audit Committee and the Board.
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management action for previous audit findings, Co-operation with the shareholder audit work.

Requirements:

• Professional in accounting, finance or related careers
• MUST: Have conversational English B2+ / C1
• Professional experience of up to 5 years
• Minimum 2 years of experience executing, designing and coordinating internal audit processes
• Nice to have CA, CPA, ACCA or CIA certificates

• Availability to work at offices in Bogota from Monday to Friday
